Nipah Beach

Here is what you are going to see, a soft white sand, calm blue waters, and rows of colorful fishing boats resting on the shoreline, Nipah Beach feels like a postcard come to life.

And, do you think all those white sandy beaches are only located in the southern part of Lombok? Well, guess what—Nipah Beach is just as white and beautiful, powdery sand that stretches along the northern coast.

Plus, it is also not crowded, but that’s what makes it so special. Whether you’re looking to snorkel, take a quiet walk along the shore, or simply enjoy fresh grilled fish with ocean views, Nipah beach will delivers what you looking for.

Where Serenity Meets Stunning Shores

From above, Pantai Nipah looks even more beautiful. The curved shoreline creates a breathtaking scenery. The hills around the beach also offer great viewpoints.

While Senggigi is popular due to its wide range of accommodation and its location close to Mataram City, Nipah beach offers a quieter, more peaceful beach with equally stunning views.

Yes, you can do snorkeling here. The water is clear and calm, making it a good spot for beginners. The coral reefs may not be as rich as those in the Gili Islands, but the area is still beautiful. Lucky snorkelers might even spot a sea turtle swimming by.

Nipah beach is known as one of the locations for turtle conservation in Lombok. Every year, thousands of baby turtles (tukik) are released into the sea from this beach. It’s a beautiful and meaningful activity, especially for families and children who want to learn more about marine life.

More Fun on the Water
